Caleb Abbott Quartet - John Coltrane Tribute

Caleb Abbott is a saxophonist currently based in Denver, Colorado, where he is pursuing a doctoral degree at Colorado University in Boulder. He has had an extensive and diverse career, including touring North America with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and maintaining a consistent freelancing schedule as both a sideman and bandleader. Caleb is excited to perform the music of John Coltrane, a legendary figure within the jazz idiom. This quartet will be performing many of Coltrane’s well-known works, including selections from A Love Supreme, Giant Steps, and Blue Train, along with some lesser-known works and music from Coltrane as a sideman.  Join us for a great tribute and enjoy a cocktail or two!
