Returning to Wichita for the first time at Walker’s @ Works is the Red Young Organ Trio - Featuring Red Young on Hammond Organ and vocals along with Jim Pisano on Saxophone and Kevin Rutschman on drums.

Playing piano since the age of 3 (first concert at 9) and Hammond Organ since the 60s, every Red Young Trio show is unique because of his depth of all the kind of music he’s played – not only jazz, blues, and soul jazz music, but influences from big band swing to orchestral, ballads and everything in between. His credits include tours, recordings and shows with Sonny & Cher, Dolly Parton, Joan Armatrading, Eric Burdon, Linda Ronstadt, Marcia Ball, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Red and the Red Hots and many others.

With years as a singer, actor, and writer in professional theatre, Christi brings a unique style to the live music scene. Known mostly for her rock n' roll sound, she may surprise you as she brings a chill vibe and faaabulous prizes to B-Side. She loves to sing rock, pop, country and yes, standards with a new approach and will modify a show for the audience.

- Steve Hatfield - Drums

Steve's professional history includes every kind of music you can imagine. Known for his commitment to excellence, he is one of the most sought after drummers in the Midwest. His arrangements are truly inventive and his unmatched expertise in rhythm is the heartbeat of this Sassfest.

- William Flynn - Guitar

We call him ‘the Sloth’ because he makes it look effortless. William is a jazz guitarist and educator based right here in Wichita, KS. Playing as leader and sideman at local clubs and festivals, he has also taught and presented at conferences and universities around the country.

- Zach Lorenson - Bass

Zach holds Bachelor and Masters degrees in Music education from Friends University and Kansas State University respectively. He has taught all ages and ability levels. Zach has been playing bass in various groups featuring jazz, rock, country, pop, classical, and worship in Wichita for the past 22 years.
