Returning to Walker's Jazz Lounge in Wichita is the Red Young Organ Trio featuring Red Young on Hammond Organ and vocals along with Jim Pisano on Saxophone and Kevin Rutschman on drums.

Playing piano since the age of 3 (fist concert at 9) and Hammond Organ since the 60s, every Red Young Trio show is unique because of his depth of all the kinds of music he’s played – not only jazz, blues, and soul jazz music, but influences from big band swing to orchestral, ballads and everything in between. Leading the charge is Denny Jiosa, a 4-time Grammy-nominated guitarist, music producer, and recording engineer whose sound stretches across jazz, gospel, rock, and beyond. As the founder of Jazzcat Studio and the Sonic Canvas label, Denny doesn’t fit into boxes — he builds his own lanes. His playing is sharp, soulful, and electrifying, blending technical brilliance with pure feel.

Denny studied production at Anderson University before venturing into the touring circuit. He joined Troy Shondell’s ‘50s rock revival band, opening for luminaries like B.B. King and Bo Diddley, before heading west to attend the Guitar Institute of Technology, where he honed his jazz chops under the tutelage of masters like Frank Gambale. Eventually relocating to Nashville, Denny forged a dual path as a session guitarist and studio engineer. His production and engineering credits span a diverse array of artists, including gospel, country, jazz, and more. Through his work with artists like Yolanda Adams and Ben Tankard, his contributions have garnered worldwide acclaim.
