Denny Jiosa is a 4 time Grammy-nominated guitarist, music producer, and recording engineer whose versatile style and sonic clarity have earned him a respected place across jazz, gospel, rock, and beyond. As the founder of Jazzcat Studio and Sonic Canvas record label, Denny eschews one-dimensional categorization—his signature blend of influence and innovation defines his musical identity. Denny studied production at Anderson University before venturing into the touring circuit. He joined Troy Shondell’s ‘50s rock revival band, opening for luminaries like B.B. King and Bo Diddley, before heading west to attend the Guitar Institute of Technology, where he honed his jazz chops under the tutelage of masters like Frank Gambale. Eventually relocating to Nashville, Denny forged a dual path as a session guitarist and studio engineer. His production and engineering credits span a diverse array of artists, including gospel, country, jazz, and more. Through his work with artists like Yolanda Adams and Ben Tankard, his contributions have garnered worldwide acclaim.
